Dish was excellently prepared, we visited with my son who loves Mexican food and I can tell he really enjoyed the homemade tacos.
We (he) recommend the "el Capitan" plate, simply delicious! -

We stopped in for a nice Saturday night dinner! The food was awesome! I had the mini tacos, the beef was excellent. The onions and cilantro were perfect and not overpowering. My wife and daughter had the nachos, and they were very good and the portion size was BIG! Overall a fantastic place to eat! Thank you, I can't wait to come back for breakfast!

Lemme just say this. I'm from Cali, I've been around, I've eaten alot of tacos, n I ain't talkin about Mexican food fam... But I've had alot of Mexican food and this place, solid. It's fuckin delish. Got a carne asada super burrito. Now I coulda been a little bitch n complained how the sour cream, guac and pico were on the outside of the burrito, but my higher faculties remind me that they are just giving me options and not making assumptions on my character and for that these folks have my respect. What it comes down to is did the food taste good and yes it fuckin did. Don't get my all hyped up fam, if you want a solid burrito then come to Zapata... I was just passing through from Cali to Houston to meet my lady and now I got the nutrition needed for a late-night pound session thanks to this place. Much love yall!
